11×14″ “From Cinders” limited edition Giclée Archival Pigment Print

$160.00

Description

This Archival Pigment Print print titled “From Cinders” is a fine art print made from my original mixed media work of art.
The inks that are used in the Archival Pigment Print process incorporate high-density pigments to produce prints with an ultra-wide 8-color color gamut (as opposed to a traditional 4-color system) and are only printed on archival fine art papers. As a result, these prints have extremely vivid colors, high light-fastness and stability, and are also more scratch-resistant than other types of prints. These museum-grade prints are archival and are meant to last at least a century or more, under the right conditions.

Printed on Moab 100% cotton rag heavy-weight archival fine art paper with archival ink, this UNFRAMED 11 x 14″ print has a white border around the image. The “deckled” edge of the paper is meant to be part of the art and is intended to be exposed when framing. The ideal method of framing of these works is by “raising” or mounting the image on a piece of mat board and then floating this over a white background. Either a linen background or a textured white paper background is ideal.

Each print is signed, titled, and dated by me in pencil. Your print comes with a heavy archival matboard backing, an acid-free crystal clear protective sleeve, and is securely packaged flat in a box. My prints are never rolled.

***This print is from a series of works titled “Story Paintings” that was originally shown at the Lloyd Kiva New Gallery at the Museum of Contemporary Native Art in Santa Fe, NM. This body of work was inspired by the Cherokee creation myth and I am an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.
