Every once in a while we come across something so inspiring, that we have to pause and take a moment to take it in.  This happened to me when I found the art of Meredith Woolnough. Curled-leaf-webIt is difficult to successfully mimic mother nature's beautiful organic motifs, and do so with grace and intimacy, as Meredith has. These are works of embroidery!  Each piece intricately stitched with fine thread.  Mushrrom-coral-circle-webHer process is a bit of a mystery to me, though she does use an embroidery machine.  How she creates form out of thread, from nothing...I don't know.  Visit her website and blog to find out more about her amazing process.edited-web+copy
